What is Piri?
A private, on-device journal for personal wellness routines — what you logged, when you logged it, how you felt, and reminders. Everything stays on your phone. There is no account and no cloud.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start.
How do I log an entry?
Tap Log on the Home screen (or the Log tab). Pick the item, amount, site, and time, and save. You can also mark today's scheduled entries done straight from the Home checklist.
How do I set up a schedule or cycle?
Go to Menu → Protocols (add what you're tracking under Menu → Peptides first), then start one with a cycle length. Home will show your day in the cycle, for example "Cycle 2 · Day 18". You can run more than one at a time.
How do reminders work?
Add a reminder time in your schedule, then allow notifications when prompted. Reminders fire on each scheduled day. If one doesn't appear, check that notifications are enabled for Piri in iOS Settings → Notifications.
What is the "How do you feel?" check-in?
A quick daily rating plus an optional note, so you can see weekly trends. The idea: the day is noise, the week is the signal.
What does Piri share with Apple Health?
Body weight, and nothing else. Piri can read your body-weight samples from Apple Health so you don't have to retype a number your phone already has, and it can save weights you log here back to Apple Health. No other data types are requested.
Is it on by default?
No. It is off until you turn it on, under Menu → Apple Health. You can turn it off at any time, or revoke access entirely in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Does my Health data leave my phone?
No. The exchange happens entirely on your device between Piri and Apple Health. It is never sent to a server, used for advertising or analytics, shared with anyone, or written to iCloud. See the privacy policy for details.
I turned it on but nothing imported.
Either there are no weight entries in Apple Health yet, or read access wasn't granted. Apple deliberately does not tell apps which of the two it is, so we can't say for certain. Check Health app → Sharing → Apps → Piri and make sure Weight is enabled. iOS only asks once, so if the prompt was dismissed you'll need to enable it there manually.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device, in an encrypted database. We never receive it. There is no cloud sync and no account.
How do I lock the app?
Menu → Security to set up Face ID / Touch ID and a PIN. You'll also get a one-time recovery code — write it down and keep it safe. It's the only way back in if you forget your PIN.
I forgot my PIN.
Use your recovery code on the lock screen, then set a new PIN. If you've lost both your PIN and your recovery code, the data cannot be recovered — that's the trade-off of a fully private, on-device app.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Under Menu → Stats & Reports you can export your log as a CSV file, or a full report as a PDF. Both are generated on your device and shared through the normal iOS share sheet, so nothing is uploaded.
Can I back up or move to a new phone?
Menu → Back up data saves a backup file to Files, and Restore backup reads one back in. Because there's no cloud, this is the way to move your journal to a new device.
How do I delete my data?
Menu → Reset all data wipes everything on the device. Deleting the app also removes all data.
How much does it cost?
Piri is free with a trial. A one-time Lifetime purchase unlocks everything forever — there is no subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Menu → Restore purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Refunds?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
